Back up to Prescott where there is still a vestige of tolerable weather for hiking..
This trail crosses one we did years ago, the Groom Creek Trail..
On that one we stopped in to say hello to the Ranger in the tower, but this was just a quick trek to keep the old bones moving.
Lots of shade trees along the trail here
This looked odd from the trail so we went in closer
